1:30pm Anna HamillBold, soulful and raw, Anna Hamill is a popular performer on the Devon music circuit.
Brought up on a healthy diet of soul and rock, Anna enjoyed listening to music from an early age. Singing and playing acoustic guitar, she re-invents covers and creates soulful originals. Her distinctive voice has caught the attention of BBC Introducing, with three of her tracks having been played by them. |
3:00pm: The Datura Roots CollectiveFrom a small sleepy Victorian seaside town with vibrant summer crowds.
Teignmouth born Roots fusion four piece 'The Datura Roots Collective' have been busy tearing up the south-west UK and making waves with their saltwater sounds, high octane live show and unique fusion of styles. Crafted from wrought Iron in the sunshine and Inspired and influenced from roots reggae and dub masters to the smokey blues & Jazz clubs, corrupted, then twisted up with electro and hiphop. Expect a deliciously delirious cocktail of soulful vocals, mad bars, blistering and ear melting silky Sax, raw and swirling Blues/Dub/Slide guitar, allied together with an irresistible groove guaranteed to make you move. |
